Retrieving a Lost File:

A. Locate it Elsewhere:

You'll need to look for this in another place you have stored it in.

Another Option:

B. Perform a Restore:

Have a Time Machine Backup of your Mac that has this file? If so, you could grab it through restore and backup...

  1. Create a Time Machine Backup of your Mac
  2. Restore your Mac from a Time Machine Backup that you made that has this file.
  3. Recover: the File
  4. Restore your Mac from the Time Machine Backup that you created in step 1.
