You'll need to look for this in another place you have stored it in.

Have a Time Machine Backup of your Mac that has this file? If so, you could grab it through restore and backup...
If it was overwritten by a file of the same exact name, that old file is gone and you need to try and recover it from your Backup set as described by the app developer. If that is Time Machine you do it by "entering Time Machine.
