Facebook app refusing correct password on new iPad
This problem seems to have been around for several years, but I still can't find a successful answer to it. Hopefully someone out there can offer some sage advice.
My wife has a new iPad. It was setup from her old iPad. All apps on the new iPad recognise their respective passwords... except for the FB app. The app on her old iPad still accepts the password after logging out and logging back in. As does FB on the web. But not the app on the new iPad. Why would that be?
We have, of course, tried all the obvious remedies – reinstalling the app, hard reset of the iPad, etc., etc. – but all to no avail. The same problem was posted up by linwoodlake01 two years ago, so I can't imagine there's a bug in the app that hasn't been fixed by now. Does anyone have any ideas?
