When I try to send a video from my macbook to my ipad it says "failed to save item. Save to icloud instead?" I don't understand why I cant just share videos easily like I've done in the past. They are videos that I have saved from Final Cut pro.

Verify your macOS and iPadOS are up to date...

If they are up to date, then try rebooting both devices.
