Printing from iPad

I need to print from an iPad to a printer that does not do Wi-Fi so cannot do air print. The printer cord has a usb on end. Can I use an adapter that has a female spot for a camera?

No. iPads cannot connect directly to printers over USB. If the printer is not wireless, the iPad won't have a driver for it and will be unable to communicate with it.

You are free to try and use the adapter, but I don't think it will work. There's no where on an iPad to even install and set up a printer.
