iCloud failing to sync on Windows 10 machine

Dear All,

I am re-installed iCloud as there was a initial sync issue

(I believe) Now every time I start up my computer leave it running iCloud

always says it initializing.  Photos are

being synced all okay without any problems.

Re-installed iCloud drive on a windows 10 machine to no

avail.

I can see my documents when using a browser - all okay

created a test document on my laptop in hope it would, to no

avail

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Windows, Windows 6
