My iPad will not let me enter my passcode, it does nothing. I have 2 iPads, one is ok ther other one is the one I’m having trouble with. How do I fix this problem?

My ipad would not let me put my security code to start. It also would not allow me to turn my ipad off
My iPad not excepting password nothing happening can’t turn it off
My ipad pro 2020 bigger one, will not let me put in my code. When i press the first number, the whole thing disappears. If i try to restart my ipad it goes to the emergency slide to exit place and tries to log off but it cant so it just keeps spinning. It was fine 10 min ago.
