How do I DISABLE voiceover shortcut

I'm sure voiceover is helpful to those who need it, but to those who don't, it's a pain! My husband has Parkinsons, and with his tremor, he often triggers the voiceover shortcut unintentially. I know how to turn it off, but it's a nuisance and we'd like to GET RID of the shortcut. Please help!

It's not helpful at all. I know how to turn the feature of after it's been turned on. I need to get rid of it so it cannot be turned on at all! Please reread my question.

If you want to specifically disable the keyboard shortcut without turning off VoiceOver entirely:

  1. Navigate to Keyboard Shortcuts:
    • In the System Settings window, select "Keyboard" in the sidebar.
    • Click on "Keyboard Shortcuts."
  1. Find and Disable the Shortcut:
    • Select "Accessibility" from the list of shortcut categories.
    • Find the "Turn VoiceOver on or off" option.
    • Uncheck the box next to this option to disable the shortcut.

This will prevent the Command + F5 (or Command + Fn + F5, depending on your keyboard) from toggling VoiceOver on or off.

* If you’ve set up Accessibility Shortcut, triple-click the side button or Home button (depending on your iPhone model).
* Use Control Center.

Triple-click the side button or Home button

With Accessibility Shortcut, you can quickly turn on or off accessibility features by triple-clicking the side button (on an iPhone with Face ID) or triple-clicking the Home button (on other iPhone models).
* Set up Accessibility Shortcut: Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut, then select the features you use the most.
* Slow down the double-click or triple-click speed: Go to Settings > Accessibility, then tap Side Button or Home Button (depending on your iPhone model).
