I used screen shot to make copies of my texts. Now I can not get the blue-framed box to go away. When typing in Word, Excel and sometimes email, the blue box appears and the keyboard space bar creates havoc. It either won't space properly or it jumps the focus to another part of the document. How do I get rid of this blue box and its hold on my keyboard?

Sounds like you have Full Keyboard Access enabled. Disable it in System Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard.
