Do I lose my Apple Music downloads if i cancel my Subscription?
If I have a subscription to Apple Music and I download songs, if I cancel the subscription, do I get to keep those songs?

No. You only have access to the Apple Music songs, even if downloaded, while you have an active subscription.
If you purchase music through the iTunes Store, the rights to that music do not expire. See: Buy music from the iTunes Store on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
