Although my internet is working properly, I am receiving an alert that the software update verification failed because my phone is not connected.

Troubleshooting iOS Update Issues:
A. Disconnect forma VPN:
Are you connected to a VPN? If so, disconnect from it.
B. Use my User Tips:
- Computer: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip
- Cellular: Use an iPhone 12 or later, that is using 5G, in order to update over Cellular - User Tip
C. IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update
