Signal bars

Why am I not getting my signal bars in the upper right corner of my screen? They scroll and then go away.

iPhone 13, iOS 16

Not sure what you mean by scroll. If you have No Service the bars will just display as dots. Do you not see this? What about if you open the Control Center by dragging down from the battery icon.

When I start my phone, the bars start lighting up from left to right and they do that a couple of times and then they go to almost invisible dots.

When I open the control center, it says no service.

You need to contact your carrier’s tech support. Ask if they have a local outage, or if there is a problem with your account, or with the provisioning of your phone.
