Hi
The same happens for me. I have an iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro and a three-week MacBook Air on this account. The iPad and the iPhone have the same issue. The Macs are fine.
The phone numbers double up when you click the telephone icon in contacts or following a spotlight search. If I have one mobile in a contact, an extra number with the label “phone” is added above it in the list, two different numbers, and I get two more, three and three etc.
Very odd, as you cannot add numbers with this label. Annoying as I can no longer click on the phone icon to make a call. Instead I have to scroll down to the real number.
The guys in the Apple Store got me to delete network settings, as this can cause problems, and this partially fixed the problem, then it reverted.
I have tried removing all numbers then adding a new one and found the problem persists, so I don’t believe it is data-related issue.
I found a reference to someone having a similar problem with IOS 14, but no solution.

Apple support is looking into this for me.
