The specifications for an Apple Macbook Air 2014 state that it has 2 USB3 ports. If yours does not then you don't have a 2014 Macbook Air:

Thank you, yes that is correct. USB3 but not USB-C. Could I find an USB3 to USB-C adapter?

Never mind, so sorry, yes you said USB3. All I had found before was USB-C only. Thank you so much, BobTheFisherman
