Hi the sound is not working when I try to watch Apple TV

See if it behaves better when setting the Audio Format to Stereo. The default (“Auto”) is to use PCM Multichannel, which some TVs may not support. Two alternative compatibility settings are available: Dolby Digital 5.1 and Stereo. Stereo would be suitable for setups with one or two speakers.

What happens when you try to watch? Is audio silent or incomplete or distorted?

Is the effect the same for all content? Do you notice a difference between sources with known stereo audio (e.g. YouTube) and known surround sound audio (e.g. Apple TV+)?

What is your audio setup? Do you use the TV’s built-in speakers, or something else?
