iCloud Stuck Again

I use macOS Ventura 13.4.1

The iCloud uploading has been stucking for a few days now.

I see the `Uploading X items`. Sometimes X was equal to more than 170 000 files! At the same time progress bar didn't change in general — while Im writing this post it was changed from 625KB to 1.3 MB and again to 745 KB (constantly changes but no more that a few MB).

I saw related posts, but personally I have a different problem with iCloud for a many years. And in the most cases the best solution here jus waiting. But I don't like it. Apple, seems that this really relevant problem. How we can fix it?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.4

Hello don_krasnov,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We'd first recommend making sure that you have enough iCloud storage available to accommodate these files. It appears that you have a little over 67GB of data trying to sync so make sure you have more than that available. You can check from your Mac by using these steps from Check your iCloud storage on any device.

"Check your iCloud storage on your Mac

  1. On your Mac, do one of the following:
    • macOS Ventura: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud on the right.
    • macOS 12 or earlier: Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Apple ID, then click iCloud.

The storage bar shows your overall storage usage.

2. Click Manage for more details.

A list of apps and features is shown, as well as how much iCloud storage they use. The apps and features that use the most storage are at the top of the list. You can click an app or feature for more information.

All the best.
