What is the best app for news via Apple TV?
We just got rid of all our cable. Both of our TVs in the house are now just hooked up to an Apple TV unit. Hoping to get a news-related app, but it seems like the apps I've tried require a cable subscription.

But that doesn’t have to be cable or satellite. There are internet streaming TV providers that work with Apple TV. Those can give you news channels, but perhaps unfortunately for cord cutters, also a large number of bundled other channels. That part hasn’t changed.

You might look at some of the free streaming apps like Pluto (my favorite), Tubi, and Xumo. They have some streaming news, some of it local, some national, some good, and some awful.
