hi ... i have an small problem with FINDER, on mac studio ventura,
every time i want to make a search , is not working
and i made an samall video to show you my problem
maybe i am doing somenthing wrong

Finder uses the Spotlight index....
Rebuild the Spotlight index on your Mac
Rebuild the Spotlight index on your Mac - Apple Support
the best method above all others I have witnessed is the drag and drop of the Macintosh HD
you can see it working, not uncommon to here the fans ramp up as it re-indexes
enter something into the search field...

hi again ..... i think i found the problem .
when i open DISKUTILITY to give maintenance [[every week]] to my disk, I realize that PARTITION number 2 is a problem, and I have discovered that SEARCH does not find anything that is in that partition.
the computer and partition 2 work fine, but it gives me this error, I leave the photo below.
The question would be how could you fix this error ?

I followed your suggestion, to format and delete the partition, and if it worked, I even gave it the scan disk, and everything was correct, but 4 days later, I gave it the scan disk again and it gives me the same error.
however, the search now works perfectly on ALL TWO partitions./
Try manually unmounting the partitions before running First Aid the process should be successful. I get that frequently when running First Aid on external SSDs. Many times I need to unmount them manually and then run First Aid.

I'd copy the contents elsewhere, reformat or delete & recreate that partition or volume, then copy the contents back. And continue to make good backups.
Yes, often Disk Utility or Finder are too impatient when some volume must be unmounted and they issue an error (I guess some Spotlight or journaling process must be terminated before continuing). Usually the 2nd try then succeeds. Or manually unmounting the volume.
