Ports available from Mini: HDMI, Thunderbolt 3/4, Thunderbolt 1/2, Mini DisplayPort, MiniDVI, DVI. Airplay.

Ports from Monitor/TV: HDMI, DisplayPort, USBC/Thunderbolt 3, Mini DisplayPort/Thunderbolt 1/2, DVI, VGA, S-Video. Airplay.

Find a cable that matches both ends. Add an adaptor as desired. It needs to be long enough.

And, 4K to 8K cables have special specs, in addition to compatibility of the port.
