Apps not downloading

I bought a new iPad. Several apps won’t download. The old iPad use to be for my business which closed due to Covid. The account/email I used is no longer valid. It keeps asking for the email password of a defunct account. How do I delete this and keep everything on my personal email account?

Apps belong to an Apple ID. An Apple ID is associated with (exactly one) person. It sounds like your Apple ID used to be your business email. If that Apple ID is no longer available, then you need to "start over" as if you are a different person using your personal account. You may no longer access objects associated with the defunct Apple ID.
