question on reset of 2009 macbook pro

I need to reset and reload a 2009 macbook pro but when I go into disk utility there ARE THREE drives listed as ;

hitachi 500 gb


untitled 499 gb


superdrive


------------------------------

AND THIS ONE LISTED AS FOLLOWS


disk one mac osx base system



Can somebody please tell me which drive to erase and then reload os to as nothing is listed as macintosh hd as peeps state in the vid tutorials ?

Hitachi as the manufacturer-given immutable name of the physical device.


untitled as a human-created item, likely a Volume, likely on the Hitachi device


SuperDrive is generally the DVD reader, but is not usually shown UNLESS there is a readable Volume in the drive


below the line,


... MacOS Base system is either the recovery system or a disk image of the recovery system and can NOT be installed on. it is typically under 2GB in size, FAR too small for a macOS to be installed onto it.


Every Installer image has a Recovery system inside it, so this could be your incoming installer.
