New version of FCPX (10.6.7) is horrible. When is going to be a new firmware update with less bugs?

Start by deleting FCP preferences. To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences. The application will start in a default state, and open an "Untitled" library. Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

What Mac M1 2019?

Please give the specs of the media, resolution, codec, frame rate.

First, disable auto update in the App Store and in System Settings Software Update.

What’s computer are you using? What version did you update from? What OS is this? What are the exact specs of your media?

It’s a 2020 Mac mini if it’s M1.

I don’t know what you usually edit. What’s the codec and frame resolution? Open it in the QuickTime Player and look in the information window.

Hi all,

Today I got back to continue with my work after updating to latest version (actually, I'm up-to-date in all my Mac stuff), and my FCP simply stops playing back, and freezes the video (sometimes, the bar goes on... sometimes crashes).

I own a M1 MacBook Pro 14" and an external NVME thunderbolt 4 disk (2800Mb/s).

Before this update, all was running very well.

Any idea?

10.6.7 is one version to avoid at all costs, for sure. Worst update ever.
