Images are not loading in some emails which are from mailing lists I've subscribed to.
They display fine when viewed on my iphone - just not on my imac which shows an empty space with a question mark inside a blue box.
Any idea what's going on, and how to fix this?

Thanks, yes it's turn on. It will display images for some mailing list emails, but not others.

Have you checked Mail>Preferences>Viewing>Load remote content?
It is strange, Mail>View>Message>Show Raw source, se any clues on the one's that do not display?
