resolution change on ipad mini

I want to change the screen resolution on my iPad mini to increase size of icons and text. I have used what is in the settings but it doesn't allow changing to another size beyond what's on the device.

Question is can the screen resolution change to a different size other than what is currently in settings?

I am visually impaired and cannot see small sizes. With MACos you can change screen resolutions to various size to meet your needs, but it doesn't seem to be the case with iPad mini device.
