Gold or Silver iPhone and Camera

There is no surface on the iPhone that is in the way, therefore light cannot reflect into the camera. You need some sort of surface where the light can shine into the camera from in order to get a glare.

The color of the iPhone will not affect the picture quality. Light is reflected away from the camera, not towards it.

The best way to find out is to either try it or ask sales staff at an Apple store.
