I'm trying to install the new, updated iMovie, which showed up as needed. I clicked to get it to install but the little blue wheel just keeps circling and there's no way to back out and try again. It's been doing this now for at least 10 minutes. HELP??

Try signing in to the app store and go to your account purchases. iMovie should be listed among the purchases. See if you can update iMovie from there. You will get the highest iMovie version that your Mac's operating system will run.
