Trying to buy AppleCare Plus for an iPhone

I had bought my daughter an iPhone 14 and I wanted to get her Apple plus coverage I know the serial number but she doesn’t live in the home with me she lives with her boyfriend how can I do this can I do this to my email and she still be covered

Applecare is on the device, not the Apple ID.
