schermtijd werkt niet

Schermtijd instellingen vallen telkens weg, de schermtijd werkt vaak niet. Kan geen nieuwe schema’s instellen. Hoe op te lossen of is er een werkende app in de AppStore hiervoor?

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

Let's first ensure Screen Time was set up on their devices, following these steps.

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You mentioned some days they funciton and some days they don't. On the days Screen Time is not functioning, are there any changes being made to the device used to control their Screen Time settings? For instance, signing in with a different Apple ID? Changes on the parent device may be having an effect on their devices.

Sorry, will translate in English.

I have issues with screen time for my children. Often the schedules are empty and I cannot re enter a new schedule on time limits per app.

then sometimes suddenly it works again for a day and then is gone again. Resulting in no blockage of the app after the time has been spend.

is there a solution for this? Is there another app that works more stable? And is also combining time consumption from phone, iPad and laptop?

Hi Chris,

screen time was setup correctly. It worked for years, then changed to sms approval and then it stopped working correctly. Think this is now the case for about 4 months.

sometimes I have to remove it totally, reinstall. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and then after weeks it miraculously works again for a while until it stops again.

looks like apple need to get the bugs at of this feature as it is an important parental control which is not working stable.

Hi,

this posts date up to a year back!

I still have to renew the settings for screentime and applimits EVERY DAY in order for the apps to be blocked on my childs phone!!

this is crazy & so annoying…

Why is this not fixed yet?

And/ or is there a workaround? Other solution?
