Can someone explain how to troubleshoot a Magic Keyboard that isn’t responding? I’m using a new ipad pro max replacement machine. Original machine died.

I have a 12.9in IPad Pro (M1) and after the most recent update, my Magic Keyboard doesn’t connect anymore. Wondering if anyone is having a similar problem and if there’s a fix for it.
My issues is the backspace/delete key and sometimes the cursors keys but other than theses issues the Magic Keyboard connects fine and works well with other keyboard features [baffling]

I have the same problem. Neither of my English Querty nor my French Azerty keyboards work consistently with my iPad Pro M1. I am using iOS 18.1. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I have same issue that my Magic Keyboard stopped working after my most recent iOS update. It said the accessory is not supported by this device.
Another user suggested cleaning the keyboard and the laptop, especially the parts that connect with the iPad. I use isopropyl alcohol 70% on a rag. It works.
