Adding Monitors to MacBook Air

I have a MacBook Air and 2 HP monitors. I connected the monitors, but both have the same thing on it and the displays setting it only show 1 HP monitor. Help

In the Displays setting click on the monitor, and then from the "Use As" drop down choose Extend, rather than mirror.


Depending on the exact model year of MacBook air, the second monitor may not be supported.
