I have gone through all the steps but one I try to pair in initial set-up it says that watch software is out of date. I have done all of the resets and everything and nothing will work. Starting to get very frustrated

At this point, your best option may be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it. If that is not possible, use the online Apple Support option. Either way:
