I have a 24" LED Cinema Display plugged in to my 2018 MacBook Pro (using a USB Type C (Source Port) to Female Mini DP DisplayPort Adapter)
The video output is fine, but there is no audio output from the speakers at the base of the display.
In the Sound settings on my MacBook Pro there is no option to select the LED Cinema Display speakers for audio output.
Any idea how to get audio from my MacBook Pro to my LED Cinema Display?

There is a USB cable and I do have a USB adapter.
I've just plugged them in and the display is now an output option in the Sound panel.
