Ring Door Bell Notifications not working

After installing ios 16.6, my Ring Door Bell notifications no longer work... nor do my Y! Camera notifications. I have gone into each app and enabled notifications. I have made sure I'm not on DND. I don't know how to fix this.

If you find yourself encountering issues with third-party apps or a particular website or product, reaching out to the respective app developer, or manufacturer can be a helpful step in resolving the problem.

How to Contact an App Developer:

  1. In-App Support: Many apps offer an in-app support feature. Look for a "Contact Us" or "Help" section within the app's settings or menu. This may provide you with direct contact information or a form to submit your query.
  2. App Store or Website: If you can't find in-app support or need additional assistance, visit the app's page on the respective app store --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
  3. Email Support: Check if the developer has an official support email address listed on their website or app store page. Send them an email explaining the issue you're facing. Be detailed in describing the problem to receive relevant assistance.
  4. Social Media: Some developers maintain active social media profiles. Reach out to them through platforms like Twitter or Facebook, describing your issue or sending them a direct message.
  5. Community Forums: Many apps have dedicated user forums or communities where you can ask questions and seek help from other users or the developers themselves.

How to Contact the Manufacturer: Kami/YI Technologies Help Center

  1. Product Manual: As mentioned, the product manual can be an excellent resource for finding contact information. Look for the "Support" or "Contact Us" section in the manual.
  2. Product Packaging: Check the product's packaging for any contact details, customer support numbers, or websites provided by the manufacturer.
  3. Manufacturer's Website: Visit the official website of the manufacturer. Most reputable companies have a support section where you can find contact information or submit support requests.
  4. Customer Support: Look for a customer support phone number or email address on the manufacturer's website. Some companies even offer live chat support for immediate assistance.
  5. Social Media: Many manufacturers maintain a presence on social media platforms. Consider sending them a message or mentioning them in a post to seek help.
  6. Retailer: If you purchased the product from a retailer, they might also be able to assist you or direct you to the manufacturer's support channels.

When contacting either the app developer or the manufacturer, be sure to provide specific details about the problem you're facing, including any error messages, screenshots, or steps to reproduce the issue. This information will help them better understand and resolve the difficulty you're experiencing.

Remember to remain polite and patient while seeking support, as it may take some time for the developers or manufacturers to respond to your inquiries.

I had the same a you. iPhone 8 plus with iOS version 16.7.8

Since yesterday no more notification from my cameras - doorbell - messenger - WhatsApp - messages.

Got only notification from mail.

I did everything what was mention on google by users, by Apple support, nothing helping me.

And I didn't wish to do a reset, because all my logins and passwords went away.

So today what I did, as test !!!

I removed my app from the cameras

Went on app store and re-install it again.

Loged in in the app from cameras, and did the test to go outside to the cameras, and Yes I got again the notifications.

So i removed Messenger - WhatsApp and messages and doorbell apps. Reinstall them again, and got all the notifications again from all the apps.

Hope it will help you

Contacted Ring directly. The issue is VPNs on your iPhone. Ring specifically disabled the view feature if you are running a VPN. Once I turned off my VPN the live view returned without issue. Then I reactivated my VPN and the live view kept working. Closed the Ring app and reopened it (VPN still on) and didn't work. Turned VPN off and started working again. So turn off VPN, open Ring app, turn VPN back on and do not close Ring App and should work.
