I am trying to send an iMessage to my daughter and the iMessage says I'm signed out via an email I HAVEN'T USED IN 4 + YEARS and I tried to reset on iPhone with my iCloud User ID and PW and it it's saying it's not able to verify ****. I need my iPhone i Message to work because I expect to get boarding passes via A TEXT from my airline in 1 day and I am OUT OF TOWN. The level of my frustration far exceeds the caps I have used here.

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime
Add or remove your phone number in Messages or FaceTime
Note: you can send iMessage to yourself for testing purposes.

I've added my phone number. That's in. It's not even letting me use FT or Messenger -- says there's a verification error. This all happened after 5 days away to BC Canada and it worked FINE there. I can't send a message to myself on iMessage on my phone so I'll try to do it w my computer. So far only my iWatch is getting texts.
