Down loading Pictures to my iMac or Mac Book Pro from iCloud

Apple no longer stores photos in the cloud. I have an old Mac Pro Notebook, which I have recently installed a new Hard drive. I would like to down load my photo to my iMac or an external drive. Is it possible to accomplish this process.

Thanks, サムエル

Are you referring to My Photo Stream? It stopped accepting new uploads in late June, and shut down completely in July, when all of the uploads would have normally been deleted, anyway.

Photos uploaded to iCloud Photos should still be around. If you were using iCloud Photos before, enable it again – and give the Mac a little time to download your photos from iCloud.
