Callers cannot hear me on my iPhone 11 with a normal call, but can through WhatsApp or other social media options

My iPhone 11 can make normal phone calls through WhatsApp, Instagram or other social media but when I'm making a phone call by dialing a number, callers cannot hear me while I can hear them.

"Message to Apple: this is obviously a big problem but in your answers, you treat it as though it's somehow something the user has done. There's no point in having something called a phone if you can 't use it to make calls so that the person the other end can hear you. You need to recall all iphone11s and compensate the owner."

"Recall"? Recalling is not my responsibility. These are just user-to-user forums. I'm just an everyday Apple User like yourself. I start my answers simple, and then work my way up from there. It's the way I author my posts. So, if you're having issues, get this serviced...

Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has can say in recalls — and that is a good thing, BTW. Giving Apple a call, explain to them what is happening, and they’ll do their own part to run you through the fix. Another option would be to take it in for a Genius Bar Appointment at your Local Apple Store. There, it will be diagnosed, and you'll be provided with your options for a fix.

Getting a Message to Apple...

Sure it's been mentioned on these forums. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported it to Apple, themselves?"

So, you need to Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
