fake e-mail allegedly from apple

I received an email from this mail address "noreply-mail-customerservice**@apple". Is it a real mail address owned by apple or is it a scam? Mail says that I have to verify my account in 48 hours or my account will be permenantly locked. I haven't clicked on anything yet, what should I do?

Apple does not threaten to lock your account. The message is a phishing attempt. Do not interact with the message or the sender.
