Contact the wireless provider to which your iPhone

is locked to see if they offer unlocking and if you

qualify.

What does it say when you look at Settings>General>About>Carrier?

There is also a section called Carrier Lock.

Settings>General>About and scroll down to Carrier Lock.

If the iPhone is unlocked, it should say 'No SIM restrictions'.

Generally speaking, you either call them or submit a request on their web site.

If you do not know what carrier your phone is locked to, ask whoever you got it from.
