hard-drive icons on the desktop shifted positions after Mac wakes from sleep. (Even after Ventura installed)

The description is about it. But, after multiple sleeps without correcting the HDs position, they jump totally out of position, many inches away from their proper locations on a 24 in. monitor. I will run more test and take screenshots. In the mean time please reply with any thoughts or (hopefully) cures.

I can't believe Apple hasn't fixed this yet. It might not be a serious problem, but it sure is annoying. Not only will my hard drives move around, but I'll even sometimes have them appear on top of each other. This happens with disk images I've left open; if there are two disk images open, when I come back and unlock the screen they will both be on top of each other and on top of the hard drive icon in the top-right corner.

I've tried a bunch of different "fixes", including moving each icon down a few millimetres from the one above it. This has helped for the drives above halfway on the screen, but the ones below that still move. I should note that I don't even have the computer going to sleep; it turns off the screens only and locks the system so that I need to enter my password to unlock it, but it doesn't enter sleep mode.

I'm on Mac Studio M2 Max, Sonoma 14.5
