Both Iphone and Ipad shows incorrect passcode and got locked out I am using iphone 14 pro max and Ipad m1 2021

It was all matter of minutes i tried to reconnect my wifi and was trying to update my iPhone, it asked me to enter the passcode, when I did it said its wrong. I know I am entering the correct passcode but it still says wrong. I restarted my phone to check and I was in a loop of entering the correct passcode and waiting for the lockout to go.

I want to know if there is anyone who is facing a similar issue, I accept the problem could be on my iPhone but having both the devices locked out seems unusual, is this a known issue ?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 16

Forgetting a passcode is very common.

However, forgetting the passcode of two devices with two different passcodes is something that never happens back to back.
