Apple Songs Removed

When I cancel my subscription to Apple Music, all of the songs disappear. Any explanation of why this happens? It only happens on the device I’m working on.

We understand that when you cancel your Apple Music subscription, the songs in your library are removed. We'd be happy to provide information about this.

This is actually to be expected. When your subscription isn't active, the content you downloaded is removed since it does not belong to you. Learn more here: Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple
