When I try to share my location it is gray
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Account Changes > [Allow]

Go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/Location Services, change the setting to Allow and turn on Location Services.
My phone won't give me the option to turn find my location on. It's greyed out
