When asked for your email during checkout or earlier, did you enter your Apple ID account? Else the purchase may not be linked to this Apple ID account.

That is exactly how I interpreted your reply. However, as this is user-to-user forum, we here have no access to information or tools to rectify this. You will have to contact Apple Store staff about it, as described in my previous reply. Good luck!
