Hey, I don’t know if this is of any use to you a year later, but I’ve had the same issue since I got my 15+ last September. I just decided to contact apple support and while guiding me to settings to amend, I noticed the “record stereo sound” within the camera settings. It was turned on, so I turned it off and it has made my video sound crystal clear… I asked the agent the purpose of the setting and they said “Stereo sound will add depth to your recordings with directional sound captured from the microphones in your device”. So hopefully if you see this it might help you too, as I’ve had a year of awful quality videos due to this being turned on!
