Family Sharing, unable to download app

I have family sharing set up for my kid. first I tried to download an app and it would not let me under the kids profile. Wouldn't even display the "get" button to try to ask for review to purchase it. So, then I went under my account and purchased so I could do a shared app to the kids account. when I go into the App Store to pull down the shared app I am told "due to restrictions set from this device, the app cannot be downloaded." What restriction is set?

Only you can know what restrictions you set on the device. There's no way anyone else could know or tell you.

Probably you set the age limit on apps to something below what the app in question requires.

You need to pay attention to what you restrict or limit in the device's Screen Time settings as that can affect many areas of the device.

Go to Settings ➜ Screen Time ➜ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➜ Content Restrictions ➜ Apps and see if its set to something below what the App requires. You can see the age requirement for a specific app in the App's Information section in the App Store under "Age Rating".
