Two friends use gmail. Recently their emails just don't arrive. What can I do to fix this? (They are not being notified that their emails did not arrive: I have checked Spam - they are not there.)

I didn't want to delete the account and add a new one unless it was necessary. Since I received most emails without a problem, I suspect the issue is to do with gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc
