Stuck at "other" user at login after reseting my MacBook Air

MacBook Air 13″ 2020 Intel i3

I recently attempted to factory reset my macbook by erasing the APPLE SSD via the terminal in the utilities of the MacOS recovery system. Then I reinstalled MacOS and it reinstalled MacOS Catalina. Now when I attempt to activate the macbook, it brings me to the welcome page, setting up in English and then connecting to wifi. But after that, I am stuck at the login screen with the only user being "other". It prompts a login asking for username and password which I don't have.

Ah, your MacBook is managed by a school administrator? I would suggest that you contact IT support at your school organization then. A lot of settings are managed and this will be not easy to solve without access to that settings
