Can you pair different versions of homepod minis?

I have an original homepod mini and want to add another. If I buy a more recent model will it pair with my original to get stereo?

The HomePod mini are all the same (as opposed to the original HomePod and HomePod 2e generation) : Identify your HomePod model - Apple Support.

You’ll have no issue pairing them in stereo.
