You're welcome. 🙂

Not sure I have a preference among these browsers. I can say whenever my Safari app experiences a problematic website, Firefox usually gets me past the issue.

I understand Brave is similar to Chrome, but much better, and without the baggage of Google.

And Chrome is... well.. Chrome. It's a bit of a resource hog.

There is no newer version of Safari to run in Catalina OS.

If you are having trouble connecting to and using websites with your older version of Safari, try it with a newer third party browser that is still being updated to meet current internet security protocols.

I suggest you take a look at Firefox browser or Brave browser... or even Chrome 🙄.

The Safari browser is typically updated with a macOS update or upgrade. Of course, that only happens if your Mac can support the newer macOS version.

Thank You. It is as I suspected. Can you advise me as to why one browser over another, twixt the 3 you listed? I'm being told Chrome is the "better/faster" one but yuck Google stuff. Had Firefox in the past but it became problematic BID. Is it better now? Never heard of Brave. Thank you any advice is appreciated as to what would best with my older iMac.
