Straight to voicemail

I recently inherited an iPhone 14 but I can’t get incoming calls because it goes straight to voicemail. Could someone please help me.

Many reason why that would happen. Did you set up this inherited phone as new?

  • Account is incorrect with carrier
  • Airplane Mode is on
  • Do Not Disturb is on
  • Phone number is in blocked list
  • Silence Unknown callers is turned on


Depending on your circumstances. The tips to resolve the problem could also include:

  • Verify account with carrier
  • Reset device to factory settings
