2. iPhones and iPads how to separate without losing data

Hi I have an Apple ID account and currently my iPhone and iPad are connected but also I have my sons. iPhone under my Apple id


our contact numbers are shared and he has access to my calls/contacts and photos as do i his


how can I separate this but allow him to use and back up to my iCloud


I want our contacts / photos and messages to remain separate thank you

It Is not possible to separate those and still keep allowing him to use your iCloud when using one Apple ID. This is only possible when you create an own Apple ID for your son and set up a family sharing group with him
